One thing to know about me…I love to plan! And planning fun things to do around Chicago is my jam. With Thanksgiving nearly upon us, December will be here before we know it and with it a slew of happenings around the city. Although this past week brought weather worthy of hibernating, I get antsy if I stay inside for too long. So without further adieu, here is the Chi Latte December List.
Brew Lights @ Lincoln Park Zoo - Wed Dec 2nd
Confession....I've actually never been to Brew Lights, but it's been on the to-do list for quite some time. Booze + pretty lights = yes! Advance purchase tickets are available through Dec 1st for $50.
Beauty Foods: Recipes To Get That Glow @ Whole Foods - Wed Dec 9th
I'm a firm believer that good skin starts from the inside out. This workshop at Whole Foods Lincoln Park looks interesting and delicious. Plus, I see it involves chocolate. So sign me up.
Grand Holiday Red Wine Tasting @ Plum Market - Thurs Dec 17th
Wondering what to serve the next time you play hostess? (Or just looking for an excuse to wine after work?) $25 gets you sips of reds from around the world.
Made in Chicago Holiday Market @ Block 37 - Sun Dec 20th

Skating Ribbon @ Maggie Daley Park - All Month
Even though I often wonder why I live in Chicago in the winter (all 9 months of it), one look at the skyline and I remember why. This city is absolutely stunning, and the skating ribbon is a great way to experience all the beauty Chicago has to offer in the winter. Free admission. $12 skate rental.
